Common questions
Are guardrail anchors just a product-selection issue?
No. The receiving structure, edge condition, spacing, geometry, and installation assumptions all matter, not only the anchor product itself.
Why do special inspections come up on retrofit guardrails?
Because anchors, steel details, welding, bolting, and related construction-phase verification can become part of the project once the guardrail scope overlaps structural work.
Can a substitute anchor change the structural scope?
Yes. A different anchor can change edge sensitivity, embedment assumptions, and receiving-structure demands enough to require renewed structural review.
